Age Qualified Housing

MCO Housing Services represents several projects that are all, or in part, restricted to persons 55 years or older. These developments are generally town home communities offering two bedroom homes, fully appliance kitchens and maintenance free living.

The affordable homes are the same design as other homes within the development however; they are sold at reduced prices for qualified purchasers. The affordable homes will typically sell in the range of $125,500 to $170,000; whereas the other homes within the development could sell for up to $500,000.

These homes are generally sold by lottery although some communities are available on a first come, first served basis.

Eligibility guidelines to participate in these affordable Age Qualified programs are:

• You may currently own a home which must be sold to purchase an affordable home.
• You must meet applicable maximum income limits and maximum equity and asset limits.

Homes prices and limits referenced above vary from project to project.

Our current AGE QUALIFIED offerings include the following projects:

Templeton, MA – Day Mill Townhouses

These town homes are currently under construction and priced at only $125,500. The units include 2 bedrooms, one and a half baths and a one car garage in a country setting. Day Mill Townhouses are located just off of Route 2, providing easy access to all major highways. Five (5) age restricted affordable town homes are available on a first come first serve basis.

Hopkinton, MA – Sanctuary Lane Estates

These 2 bedroom town homes are located close to Hopkinton center with easy access to the Mass Pike and Route 495. Nestled in a quiet wooded area, these 40 homes are currently under construction.  The lottery for the ten affordable units has been conducted. 

Harvard, MA – Trail Ridge at Harvard

This development is located in the beautiful community of Harvard, MA. Fifty-two (52) town homes are being developed on this 40 acre parcel of land. Twenty-four of these town homes will be age qualified and developed in a private section at Trail Ridge. Six (6) age qualified affordable homes will be available at Trail Ridge in Harvard.  The lottery has taken place.

Located in the apple country community of Bolton, MA this development consists of a mix of town homes and garden style apartment homes. The project is located just off Route 117, less than 2 miles from Route 495. The Clubhouse overlooking the existing pond will be the focal point at Regency at Bolton. There will be 15 affordable homes located at Regency at Bolton. The first lottery has been completed with an additional 8 units available through additional lotteries.
